Donate now to help us deliver critical and free food education to more than 2,000 SFUSD students through farmers market field trips, cooking classes, and job training.
Every kid deserves opportunities to grow and be healthy. As students go back to school this fall, help us provide free food education for kids and teens. Through farmers market field trips, cooking classes, school gardens, and job training, we increase young people's desire to eat fresh fruits and vegetables and be empowered as future food leaders.
Foodwise farmers markets and education programs are an essential source of learning, wellness, and connection for youth, serving more than 2,000 San Francisco Unified School District students every year. Through Foodwise Kids and Foodwise Teens, students meet farmers face-to-face at the market, cook and grow their own food, develop valuable life and job skills, and build community together. Because all kids should have access to fresh food, our youth programs prioritize Title 1 public schools that have a higher percentage of students who qualify for free or reduced price lunch.
These free programs are funded by donors like you. We need your support to continue to serve San Francisco youth with critical and free nutrition and wellness education, as we have for more than a decade. Invest in the next generation and grow our farmers market community with a donation today.
